This really amazed me on how the L series lenses were made.
No wonder Canon L series lenses cost so much...

wow... really really ganas. like diamond eh!hehhe... the things ppl to get the best!
actually I think it happens to Tamron, Sigma, Tokina and other lens manufacturer as well. They were all using the same technology to produce the high precision lens.
Guess the only difference will be the lens multi coating technology and the frequency of algorithm in the chip.
Still the important part which makes the lens shine is the consistency of performance and quality control.
FUCK.. Malaysia quality control sucks ..but not all!!!
Tamron was now the most preferred 3rd party lens and it was now giving so much pressure to the Canon & others.
That explains why they are so expensive alright. :( No wonder.
cant they make them any cheaper? lol.. that's the reason why im stuck with my basic lens.. =/
there are 2 ways to get it cheaper by ethical means:
1) buy 3rd party lens such like Tamron, Tokina, Sigma, Samyang and others
2) buy 2nd hand from forum members ^__^
...but I would consider the 2nd option more and it usually can save RM200~300 with good warranty and great copy if you are lucky that day ^__^
