.
hello tourists ... do you know what those best dishes you can find @ Jalan Alor?
...and which restaurant to go?
.
yeah I know this one looks messy ... but hey this is one of the best you can have~
the infamous -Alor Chicken Wings/ 黄阿华烧鸡旁(Wong Ah Wah Grilled Chicken Wings)
RM4 / per pair
Corner lot restaurant just opposite Nova Hotel. Actually what you see below here was their kitchen~!
Recommended specialties - Fried Squid Rings, Hokkien Mee, Grilled Chicken Wings,
Prawn with Salted Egg .. .and many more. Best way to choose dishes is to ask for their menu.
.
.
the best you can get~!
.
.
my 2nd favorite food here -田鸡粥 (Frog Legs Porridge)
the best one, you can get it here ..but unfortunately it was closed~
Order the porridge at the stall outside and you may order other dishes from nearby stalls. Also remember never ever to sit inside the shop other that the corner lot I mentioned just now.
RM15 a medium clay pot bowl for 2 persons
.
.
since my favorite porridge stall was closed on that day ... hence I gonna order it from this place.
Verdict - over charged~! thinking we were tourist, damaged RM18 and taste not up to standard, not a clay pot one ~!
Location: this stall with clear Tiger Beer logo ...but not the restaurant inside..
.
.
the Jalan Alor
.
.
Caution:
this one was well patronize restaurant, taste good and squeeze your wallet as they can~!
Hopefully, they had changed their attitude. Once a Fried Beehoon Noodle that they charged - Rm15 which actual pricing is only RM10 for a large dish(2 persons)
You can find many nice food in Jalan Alor with menu listed with pricing or better still if you can
bring along some local friends.
* Extra Note - Noon time till evening 6pm - there is one stall here just outside of this restaurant. It sells Fried Fritters such as 油炸鬼(Yau Jar Kwai/Golden Fingers) Best in town and very affordable.
.
.
Seasoned Dry Meat Shop
.
.
very happening~
lots of variety ... yummy~
welcome to Jalan Alor the best food haven in Kuala Lumpur
if let say you want something else ... Italian restaurants, Irish restaurants, Dutch restaurants, pubs ...
No worry, it was just down the blocks ... just ask the local and they will gladly show you...
